We are going to spend time in Green Pasteur’s, still water and the dark valley.
We will look at the passage (Psalm 23) from the sheep’s view
1. Dependent Sheep
We are all dependent to God. Dependence is nothing but Trust in God.

2. No frictions

2. Daring (Courageous) Sheep
No Fear in dark valley. I is used. First person language.
First three verses Talking about God. Now Talking to God. Comments to communion.
Two words in v4. Walk and dark.
In the valley its not a quick run but a quiet walk.
Darkness illustration. Prefers Presence in Darkness over brightness in absence of God
3. Delivered Sheep
After valley experience, there is deliverance
Enemies will be put to shame.
Annointing. Consecration is awaiting. The oil dispels the enemy.
4. Delightful Sheep
My cup overflows
Delight to be fill. My Joy is in making others delightful.
Goodness and mercy follows all days of my life.
Dwell in the House of the Lord forever.
There is a Promise, Place and Person.
This psalm begins and ends with LORD. A Christian life should start and end with Lord.
